It's a tea pot NOT A KETTLE!!! Seriously why would someone think you could put this and use this to heat water on the stove! Seriously why! It's common sense! Regardless of other people's lack of cognitive ability it retains heat well steeps tea cleanly and the internal filter works very well. It was a bit out of my price range originally but for the money this is a beautiful very functional tea pot. Very good price. Very very happy with it.

Great product... absolutely love. Got it for my wife's birthday and it's very well made. I was surprised by some of the reviews that said they put it on the stove. It's a tea pot NOT A KETTLE!!! Seriously why would someone think you could put this and use this to heat water on the stove! Seriously why! It's common sense! Regardless of other people's lack of cognitive ability it retains heat well steeps tea cleanly and the internal filter works very well. It was a bit out of my price range originally but for the money this is a beautiful very functional tea pot. Very good price. Very very happy with it.

Absolutely beautiful set! Love it, and not too small like many sets on Amazon. There are instructions that specifically state to not heat in the pot over direct flame, so make sure you don’t so it doesn’t crack like other reviews.
