Extremely solid and easy touse and clean. Don't peel your garlic cloves or trim the ends.Cut your clove in half and press each half. The paper coveringand everything else but the garlic pulp itself will remain in thepress. After pressing the clove, use the back of a butter knifeto gently scrape the garlic pulp off the press and into a bowl.Then pull the paper hull off the press and wash the press withsoap and water. Super easy. Love it.Once you've pressed the garlic, massage with your hands witholive oil or hand cream and wash with your favorite soap. Therewill be little, if any, aroma of the garlic remaining. I really like that I can put in a garlic clove without skinning it, give a firm press and out comes the garlic leaving the skin inside the press. The skin is easy to remove from the press and usually comes out in one piece. I use running water and a kitchen brush to clean the press right after use which makes it very easy to clean.
