I normally wear 48L coats, sometimes 50, jacket so I ordered an XXL. I couldn't be happier with this! I was skeptical because the fabric is quite lightweight - it's as if it is just the outer fabric of a traditional sport coat, no lining, no shoulder pads, etc. BUT I've worn it several times now and it is super comfortable to wear. It's recently been brutally hot here in Vegas, yet this feels so much better than a traditional sport coat. So far, it holds its shape really well too. It a 'classic' fit and looks great with khakis, jeans, and dress pants. The fit was just right for me, although the sleeve is a little longer than I would like. I asked a local taylor to cut an inch off the sleeves, and I just paid $15 for service. This coat can go with any casual pants and it looks great. This coat can make a simple white t-shirt and jeans look very stylish. I live in a place where the weather is mostly at 70 degrees, and this coat is just right for the weather, it gives good protection from direct sunlight, yet cool enough and comfortable. I love this coat and would probably buy another one.
