Those things are to be expected considering the fact that it's real fruit, dried with no sugar added. I like that a lot, and consider the nutritional value, it's well worth the effort to get used to eating them. The apple, peach and persimmon mix is the best! The persimmon is soft and chewy and very flavorful. However the tropical mix and kiwi needs some work. The kiwi is good but tart, I like that they don't add sugar. There are some harder parts to the kiwi that would be nice if taken out. The pineapple is really delicious but the orange is tough to eat and tastes like you are just eating the peel, so it is a bit bitter. I love the packaging and that it is resealable. Not to tasty, but they are jammed packed with nutrients and antioxidants. So want the good nutrients without the crummy taste?
