Its textured handle promotes extra grip and makes cutting a less stressful process, because you can grab it tightly and not worry about slippage. Also, it has a very nifty design for the blade to retract which is a HUGE safety feature, especially if you have kids around. I don't know why this blade has gone blunt so soon because when i researched the product, makers across the globe have said only good things about it. I can only conclude that the seller is stocking defective/ cheaper / imitation products or else the whole world of crafters have become delusional !!
