I've tried many products in the past to help with the constant itching and shedding but still at times his skin continued to be flaky and his coat very dull. I picked up viva la dog spa oatmeal dog shampoo at a retail store. After the first use I noticed a decrease in his scratching and his coat was silky and soft. By the second use the redness and irritation under his chin and neck were gone and his overall coat seemed revitalized, as if it were the coat of a two or three year old dog. He has also quit shedding. My dog seems more comfortable and in less agony. The neighborhood kids have even commented on how much softer his coat feels. I was so amazed at the results I looked up the product on amazon, found it, and ordered three more bottles. The ingredients are natural with mild coconut cleansers, pro-vitamin B-5, nettle extract, aloe vera, sweet almond oil and of course oatmeal. This product also smells really nice. So if your precious little pooch has skin or coat issues I highly recommended this shampoo. I don't want my dog to smell like a flower after I bathe him. He has really bad flea allergies. I had to bathe him because a flea bit him & it started an allergic response. He was itching & scratching something terrible before I bathed him. His skin was bright pink & very irritated. It seemed to really soothe his skin. His skin was not as red & irritated after his bath.
