The pocket clip will come loose but you can loctite the screws to avoid this. My glowing opinion changed when I was trying to break a car window to get an infant out of the summer heat and I hammered away far too long with the "glassbreaker" on this knife. I ended up switching to an asp. I havent tried the strap cutter yet but I bought a separate one so I dont end up counting on it. Positive note, it is a standalone strap cutter, not using the blade. Decent knife for the price, would not buy again due to the galssbreaker, which is now mashed because its too soft of a metal. **Q: Will your company be making any new products?** A: Hi Andrew,Thanks for your interest and question. Cheers **Q: Does the paint rub off?** A: No. The only place where silver can be seen is on the knife edge. I suppose if this knife was used as an edc and came into contact with body oils, sweat, etc. The paint would eventually rub thinner. But no painted surface escapes this. Overall this knife is one of the best I own. I just wish they made a tanto blade version. The drop point version is a great knife. Get one, you will see. :)Hope this helps. **Q: Is this blade considered a switchblade** A: No. It is an "assisted opening" style of knife. Out of all the knives I have that are considered "assisted" it is the fastest opening. You hold it in your hand, pull back on the protrusion on top of the blade and it opens. Excellent knife. It's made in China, but don't let this deter you from buying this knife. It is one of the best I own. I was using a cheap spring assisted Kershaw knife I received as a gift for years until I forgot it was in my pocket while going through a metal detector at a professional basketball game and had to go ahead and throw it away. (The walk back to the car would have been outrageous and the knife was getting dull) SO naturally I felt naked without a knife and felt that this time I wanted to upgrade a bit. Boy am I glad that I did. This knife is MUCH more sturdy and you can really tell there is a high level of craftsmanship involved in making these. It is somewhat hard to explain, but it just flat out feels well made. This knife has the emergency seat belt / paracord cutter which I've actually used in other applications to perfection. I really like the glass breaker addition as well (better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it). The knife is sharp to the touch, to the point where I have to use way more caution then i'm used to, which isn't a bad thing either. The only minor drawback I could come up with is the way the knife sits when folded. I would say that if it was held in a pocket there could be a slight chance something could get snagged by the tip because it is exposed just slightly. Even with that slight issue it wouldn't come close to making this anything less than 5 stars. Very good looking, well constructed and extremely sharp. Everything that I am looking for in a blade. Love the Para cord/seatbelt cutter and glass breaker features. Very solid, easy to conceal. The blade assist has a perfect tension and is very easy to open and close. Arrived in a nice small box, un-damaged and properly packaged. Would recommend this blade to anyone!! This is the second one I've bought, Same exact knife. Only needed a new one because I gave my last one away. I gave it away after 3 years of using it as a working blade! It was still working just as awesome as day one, 3 years later. That says something. Granted, I've sharpened the blade probably monthly or bi-monthly, because I used the blade daily. It held its edge great.Mechanically, the blade has a nice carbon handle, good grip in any weather, even in the snow (never had snow stick to the handle). Great spring assist assembly, stayed tight even with hard daily use.
