Got this through the Vine. I sometimes do oil changes for people on the driveway, and always splash a little oil under the car. This is perfect to put under your oil pan to prevent spills. Catches the oil well. Good overall.

Used this in a gravel carport to put something under my motorcycle while working on it and prevent dropped bolts from disappearing forever. Pretty tough, but wish it was bigger. Nice rubber backing has resisted the elements and insects and whatnot for a month now without issues. As good as a similar product I bought at Costco not long ago.

There are several of these mats out there, and I've tested a few. At the price point, this one is at the top of the list. It has some absorbency, is large enough to get where the drips or splashes will end up (especially the initial flow from the oil pan when you go to drain it), and is light and small enough to store out of sight or sit under the car in the garage. A good choice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this mat. It is larger and thicker than the last one I bought. It does slide around a bit on the floor, but for the price, it's definitely worth it.

I received this today, to put under our 350 dually that invariably spurts a drop oil every time we start it. I was using cardboard taped to the ground, which worked, i just kept tripping on it when the truck wasn't in the garage. This is quite a bit more lightweight than I thought it would be, so I don't know how well it will stick to the ground. It's like a felt on the one side, and a waterproof backer on the back side. I may tape it down just to make sure it stays in place. The lightweight of it is why i gave it 4 stars otherwise, this is a cool concept, didn't know it existed

Nice thin pad that absorbs oil and helps with not creating a mess. Does not take up much space at all.

I ordered this oil spill mat for my car which is dripping oil from more places than I'd like. 30x36 is just large enough to cover the areas where I've seen drips. The mat has a thin layer of absorbent material bonded to an even thinner black plastic backing. The backing isn't very grippy but stays in place on the garage floor surprisingly well. It comes folded and vacuum packed, and once out of the bag the fold lines are front and center. Setting it out in the sun for a while smoothed out most of the folds.It absorbs and contains liquid fairly well. I expect it will help keep oil off the floor but I don't see how it might be cleaned so long term I expect this will be a replacement item.
