The low end of the volume is small and it gets loud very early on the dial but the sound is clear and crisp, exactly what I want to hear the news. The bluetooth feature is easy to use and connects to each different device I have. I haven't tested the rechargeable battery for any length of time but it came fully charged and it does work. The tuning knob has nice smooth action and it lights up with a nice warm glow. Despite it's small size, people notice it and comment how cute my Retro radio is!
