I purchased it because I wanted a simple teething ring that looked easy for my 6 month old to hold and that would stay cold. It's easy to hold, but it does not stay cold. To me that was the whole point. I should have realized a piece of plastic would get warm once out of the freezer fairly quickly, but they claim it helps to soothe baby's gums when cold so I thought the material might keep cold longer.
