It stays on the baby head more than others that I've tried. Baby can also turn head in this which is not a concern. And the bold spot on the back..well I think it's not due to the pillow although I did notice he has it now.My biggest concern is because of the circle in the pillow, my baby's head seems to have indentation at the same spot. I can't return this pillow anymore but I stopped using it. My baby only lays on this pillow at night.
