Always tried to pick the high quality and/or grain free. Sometimes dog would like it but there would always be periods of time where food was left in bowl for 1/2 the day. Dog has always had gas that would clear a room as well. Started feeding just this and it is wonderful. The gas is gone and he loves it. He starts jumping when he sees us putting it in the bowl and it is gone in about 30 seconds. He then goes back to his bowl periodically to nudge it looking for more. I was worried that he might be hungry but he doesn't seem to scrounge around the house looking for food dropped by my kids anymore than usual (is still a dog after all) and I have never heard stomach growling or seen him look uncomfortable. I think he just REALLY loves it. We have tried the duck and lamb but I like how the chicken is usually a couple of dollars cheaper and it also crumbles easier when we prepare it. Now for the bad part. This stuff is CRAZY expensive to be the only food. My dog is a 15-20 pound yorkipoo so I give him 4 pieces twice a day. At $20plus a bag we go through it much faster than I would like. I can't even imagine if I had a bigger dog. My mother-in-law sees how much he loves the food and asked about it for her English Setter. We both agreed it would be way too expensive to be a sole food source for that size dog.
