Because dragging an extension lead up a ladder is an immense pain in the bum I decided to upgrade to cordless, but couldn't justify spending bosch blue money on an occasional-use tool. This product and a bosch-makita battery adaptor and I'm in business for 1/3 the price of a bosch one. And it just works! I've used it much more than I expected it to; trimming guttering, cutting latch holes in door frames etc and it doesn't miss a beat. It's probly not as refined as a posh model but who cares?
