Review: Good Quality Instrument - It has been about 1 week since the purchase of this Panasonic phone. So, far, it has been a good experience. The sound is loud enough. It has good quality buttons. When the phone was connected to the phone line, there was blinking on the caller id display, and that went away when I set the date and time according to the instructions booklet which comes along with the phone. So it is all good now. The cons: the display is small, so the digits are small. You have to come very close to the top of the screen to see the caller's id. Also, it would be better if they could provide the provision of installing battery so that the screen would backlit for incoming call. Now, you have to first put the room's lights on in order to see the caller's number. It is quite easy to set or reset the date and time though. Overall, a good quality phone. My earlier Binatone phone (also brought through desertcart), which was much cheaper than this one, started making bleep sounds within 40 days of switching to Airtel Broadband/landline connection from MTNL connection. It was working well on MTNL connection. That is why I just replaced that with a reputed company's phone. Hope this Panasonic phone still keeps working fine as it has been so far.
