Review: Great quality, worth adding some subs - Installed these Alpine S2-S68 speakers in my 2006 Mustang and they sound great. The highs are very clear and crisp, vocals come through clean, and they don’t distort when you turn the volume up. Big improvement over the factory speakers. Midrange is solid too, but like most door speakers they don’t hit super low bass, so I’d definitely recommend pairing them with a subwoofer if you want that full, deep sound. Overall really happy with them for the price and performance.

Installed these Alpine S2-S68 speakers in my 2006 Mustang and they sound great. The highs are very clear and crisp, vocals come through clean, and they don’t distort when you turn the volume up. I would I would say these are the best 6x9 speakers you can probably buy They are straightforward to install and they sound incredible for my little measly factory head unit and they put out way more bass than I expected from these.
