Best 3.0 drive for the price - Hey guys this is Salim an today I will give a quick review for this HP x265w USB 3.0 Pendrive. I purchased the 32 GB version and got it for 699 INR as Great Indian Sale was going on. I got the White one though other colours are also available. But I think white looks cool with black. ------------------------- Design and Build ------------------------- The build is great. Sure, its plastic but it is very sturdy. Also I like the retractable design a lot. ------------------------- Performance ------------------------- The performance is great. I mean usually with 2.0 pendrives I get 8-12 MBPS speed but with this plugged into USB 3.0 port, the speed that I got was 35 MBPS consistently. And it claims a minimum speed of 30MBPS, so HP holds up to its claims (See images attached). ---------------------- Heat ----------------------- Every Pendrive heats if data is transferred and this pendrive was no exception BUT it heated a lot less compared to the SanDisk Ultra that I purchased earlier and returned due to that excessive heating. ------------------------ So should you buy it? Definitely GO FOR IT. its better than the SanDisk Ultra and gives good consistent data transfer rates.
