Being able to diagnose it quickly meant that we were able to call in a telehealth appointment and our kids' pediatrician, tell them we had tested already, and got the flu medicine (and some elderberry) to start taking the same day.My husband hadn't gotten his shot this year and we didn't realize what it was until 3 days into his sickness, and he was MISERABLE but these tests at least helped us figure out what was wrong so we could address it. Our kids and I were able to test the second we thought we had symptoms, and between getting our vaccines ahead of time plus a quick call to get the medicine ordered, we were spared practically all symptoms. Then we used the rest of the tests to tell when we were finally negative and could end quarantine.
