It gets hammered sometimes but wind and rain but it hasn't missed a beat. The only place water could get in is at the bottom and mine is perfectly dry when I took it down to replace the sim. It has a waterproof gland. I think as you tighten the large plastic screw, there is an inside washer which expands to fill the void making it waterproof. It seems to work. Mine has been up since January this year. **Q: will this work with 3irl , Irish network, ? is it possible to log into the router remotely ?** A: Yes, I’m using 3 as well. You will be able to log in remotely while the modem is in nat mode. If um you are using it as bridge, it doesn’t allow you to logging anymore. **Q: I want to use this to provide internet access to a different router/switch.
