I subsequently received another reply with notification of shipment and a phone call to confirm. The package arrived within a couple days and my set is now complete. In all it took about a week for the final knife to arrive and I am beyond impressed. Not only was the response timely and professional, but very convenient for me as the consumer. Now that I’ve have gotten some use out of the set I can also vouch for the quality of the blades. They are sharp and get the job done with ease. The only con I can add is that the smaller blades don’t fit snug in the slots so they tend to sit uneven unless you take the time to angle them all the same (just my OCD tendencies speaking)... Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and experience with this company!**Original Post 08/25/18**Looks nice but didn’t receive all the knives, the box only came with 13. Kinda looks silly with an open slot (no, not the built in knife sharpener slot, an actual knife slot). They are very sharp and slice veggies and meat very thin with no problem. The knives are constructed in one piece, eliminating the chance of the handle or blade snapping off. The block is solid wood and heavy; stays in place without having to hold it to remove the knives. I like the multiple knives designed for specific cuts - plus it includes the scissors, small size cutting board, and built-in sharpener. This is by far the best knife set I've ever purchased. The quality is amazing; made to last a long time. Definitely worth the money. Very satisfied. A++++ ### ⭐⭐ Cheap knife set. They're very pretty, very light weight (hollow) and very sharp. However, you have to hand wash and dry them IMMEDIATELY after using. I haven't ever put these in the dishwasher, but the fact that I didn't wash them right away, caused 2 of them to rust! They were not sitting in water either. For stainless steel...I would expect there to be a little more leighway with that. It's very disappointing. Not only did those two knives rust, but a couple of them have bent tips just from normal use?! I've had the same old knife set, very basic, for the last 8 years. Dishwashed my old knives every time and never, ever had I had a rusty knife or a bent tip! The only reason I upgraded was to have a pretty, new knife set. Pretty it is, but that's it. These are poorly made. Sure wish I'd spent the money on the tools of the trade set I had before.
