I bought two pair in 2012, and wore them out. When I went to reorder, I was supremely disappointed to see that some genius at the FitFlop company decided that it was not enough to make the perfect sandal, but that it was necessary to make many different designs -- every design seemingly except for the Slide Sport, which is now discontinued.Ok, I resigned myself to this fact. Change is inevitable, but having made the perfect sandal, the people at FitFlop clearly know what they are doing, and I assured myself that the new designs would be as comfortable and useful as the Gogh Slide Sport. I didn't really like the new designs so much. They still made a Gogh, but with adjustable straps. Not only was in ugly in my eyes, but they didn't carry it in the tan color that I had become so fond of.Then I saw the Xosa, and it was the closest thing to the old Gogh Slide Sport, and available in tan. I ordered (size 11, I usually wear a 10, but FitFlops are notoriously undersized). When the sandals arrived, they were not tan but medium brown. Cripes, they sent me the wrong color and I'll have to send them back. But then I looked at the box, and it was labeled tan, and I looked at the other available colors, and these clearly were not black or chocolate. Strike one.I have an open mind. I put them on. Not comfortable. The straps are constructed in such a way that there is a ridge at the edge of each side of each strap, and this ridge is prominent enough to be felt. Well, they're new, so give them time to break in. They're FitFlops and those people know what they're doing.Three months later and no improvement. I can wear them with socks, or around the house, but if I walk even as little as a city block without socks, the ridge digs into the top of my feet, causing pain.Bottom line: these things are useless. They make my wide foot appear more feminine in the Men's larger frame and the extra squishy support of the Fitflop sole allows me to walk all day in them! ### ⭐ Disappointed *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2014* I bought these for my husband as a 2nd pair of Fit Flops. He loves his first pair which are like fisherman's sandals. I also have 3 pair. These did not fit well and his heel kept falling off the back. When I sent them back the seller, Sole Provisions charged me $17.99 for a restocking fee.
