Or are they thrown away when the bottle is empty?** A: They are reusable until sealed hole med syringe goes in does not seal anymore, which is quite a few times. Just wash between bottles with dish soap and water. They are very nice, med does not leak out when turned upside down **Q: Is the seal safe adapter removable from the bottle (for example, if the med is finished and you want to reuse the adapter)?** A: I don't think you're supposed to do it, but it can be done.
