Review: I LOVE This Optic!! - I purchased the TNC335R ThermNight Thermal & Night Vision Multispectral Scope and am WAY impressed with its performance! Whether you're hunting or target shooting (plinking or long range), this scope has all the features you need to make precise, accurate shots in any lighting condition. I've shot in day, night, and foggy conditions. Thermal & Night Vision Tech: THIS HAS BOTH THERMAL AND NIGHT VISION BUILT INTO ONE DEVICE! The combination of the 384 x 288 thermal sensor and Sony Starvis 2 digital sensor delivers incredibly clear thermal and night vision images. The seamless switch between thermal and night vision with just a button press is very convenient and works flawlessly in daylight and darkness. The 60Hz 1920x1080 Micro-OLED display is crystal clear, which basically means you won’t miss any important details. Thermal has its place. Detecting an animal's presence is important. Verifying the difference between a coyote and your neighbor's dog is critical! Night vision is critical for that. Pushing a button to flip it to night vision takes 1 second! Laser Rangefinder & Ballistic Calculator: The built-in laser rangefinder is a game-changer! It provides instant distance measurements from 5 to 1200 yards, and the onboard ballistic calculator gives precise real-time corrections, making adjustments quick and easy. This is a fantastic feature that enhances accuracy during both short and long-range shots. This is something I have found to be invaluable! Just load the ammo profile, the bore/height of your optic, and off you go. You have the option of using actual chrono data (like I did) if you go to a range and capture real-time chronograph muzzle velocity averages, but it's not critical because the profile will load the data from the box automatically otherwise. When using the range finder, I can either press a button for ranging OR set it to automatically range for me (preferred). I can also set it to either show me the hold for distance or "dial" so that the range finder sets the distance at the crosshair (also preferred). Then all I have to do is aim and shoot. Since I hunt hogs and coyotes (as well as game), this combination is HUGELY helpful! Image Clarity: The image clarity is stellar even in low-light or challenging environments. The 50Hz refresh rate and wide field of view (FoV) make target acquisition effortless. Compared to the TNC225R, which was a consideration, the field of view (FoV) is more expansive, allowing me to see a larger area and making it easier to see moving animals, such as hogs and coyotes. Comfort and Zoom Functionality: The 65mm eye relief is ideal for extended sessions, and the design ensures comfort, even when wearing light gloves. The faster zoom functionality and removable throw lever are excellent for quick adjustments, especially in fast-paced situations. Durability: Built to withstand harsh conditions, the TNC335R is IP67 waterproof and recoil-resistant up to .50 BMG, which is impressive. I’ve used it in various weather conditions, including mist and fog, and it has held up perfectly. It’s reasonably lightweight at 25.6oz, and its 9-inch design ensures easy handling during extended use. You will likely want to purchase more 21700 batteries or a battery pack, which is to be expected with this type of technology. App Integration: The DNT Optics App is a great addition. I can store and manage multiple ballistic profiles and easily switch between settings depending on the environment. Plus, I can track and share my experiences by recording up to five minutes of footage for each shooting engagement, whether during the day or at night. Price: Two things here. The TNC335 can do thermal AND night vision. Nobody else can! I did the legwork. As of today, it's not available. Now, go price out what ATN or Pulsar is selling their gear for. I did. In many cases, for less than the cost of either of theirs, I can get two of these and still have money in the bank! I learned about it on YouTube. I will suggest the same for you. When I was researching ATN products on desertcart and Optics Planet, as I was reading the ratings, one thing that stood out to me was Faris Oran. A lot of people spoke with him. "He's a rock star. He helped me get my firmware uploaded. He got my RMA taken care of. I got my scope back in record time." That sent a signal to me that people spent a lot of time on the phone with technical support. A lot of people sent their new scope in for repair. I wanted to like it enough to buy, but I did not want to find myself in the same situation...wishing my scope was working when I wanted to be hunting. So far (knock on wood), I have not had any issues or need to call for support. I will update later. Overall, I highly recommend the TNC335R ThermNight for anyone looking for a top-tier thermal or night vision scope. Did I mention that THIS HAS BOTH THERMAL AND NIGHT VISION BUILT INTO ONE DEVICE! It offers outstanding performance, versatility, and durability, making it perfect for both professional and recreational use. Definitely worth the investment! The only real downside is that there is a learning curve. It's intuitive in many ways. You can learn what you need to know in an afternoon. I had to be patient because it can do a lot. If you've had a thermal or night vision before, it won't be hard, but if you're new to it, get on YouTube. There's plenty of info out there. I hunt game, predators, and nuisance animals. This thing rocks! I recommend it without hesitation!!
Review: Excellent Product! Cannot rate it high enough! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! - Bought this to get into night hunting in Florida for hogs and mounted it on a .243 rifle. Was my first venture into night hunting. The scope has surpassed all my expectations. We've had several people try it out at night including first time hunters and people who don't shoot very often at all and it is fantastic and every one of them has commented on how clear it is and how easy to use. We typically use tripods to help for stability which makes the view stable. Once you get used to how to sight it in and adjust it - it's a great site. I was worried about battery duration so I bought a spare. We tend to glass the field for a minute or 2, then move and keep looking so we're constantly hibernating it and then using it. We can easily get through 8+ hours hunting that way with one battery. I have a friend with different brand thermal scope and his only lasts about 3 hours with similar use before his battery runs out. So I've been very impressed with battery life. The clarity of this scope is excellent and I think the Price is a great value for everything you are getting. The fact that you can use it in daytime and at night with either thermal or ambient light is great. We were able to flip between thermal and ambient light at night and see which was best for the current situation and change it even during the same hunt as sometimes we were in open spaces with ambient light and others in darker spaces where thermal was all that you could use. Both work great. All work great and the visibility is exceptional. One thing we learned is this (and other thermal scopes) is they are much bigger than other scopes so none of my gun cases could hold the gun with this scope on it so we were forced to buy a new gun case. This scope is built very solidly. I'd watched lots of reviews when choosing a scope and the quality and durability of the scope is very evident. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to get into thermal and night hunting. I started at the lower resolution one to see if we'd like thermal hunting. I didn't want to spend $2k - $5k to get a top quality scope initially until I knew it would be a good investment but I also had used cheap hand held thermal scopes that were < $500 and they didn't work very well at any distance so I figured I'd try to stay under $1k for the scope. Cannot rave about this purchase enough. Would highly recommend this scope and brand to anyone interested. I rarely write reviews on products but thought this one was worthy of the writeup. One note - definitely need to screw on the battery cover tightly when you install it and use it. If the battery cover is loose at all then the scope can shut off and have to be turned back on when using which is very annoying. All the video reviews mention this and we found it to be true as well but once you know that and put the battery cover on very hand tight - it isn't an issue at all. Sorry for this rambling and as a final note. Please be responsible if hunting with the night scope and make sure you know exactly what you're looking at. with just a heat signature - given different environmental factors - many animals can look similar with just a thermal signature so use it for a bit seeing different types of animals to know exactly what you are looking at. For example - through the scope and in thermal - you need to be pay attention to the distance of the object because a raccoon or armadillo that is within 5-20 yards may look about the same size as a 100lb hog at 125 yards. So it's important to be able to identify the specific traits in thermal of whatever you are looking at to make sure you don't make mistakes because distance is hard to judge just from scope image only unless you pay attention to the ranges displayed. Once you are aware of this - it's pretty simple but it is something we show anyone who has tried mine so we make sure they know exactly what they are seeing/hunting.

The DNT ThermNight 650R is an amazing thermal scope that combines advanced features like a lrf and ballistic calculator, making it an excellent choice for hunters. Its clarity and precision, especially in low-light conditions, Picture in Picture is absolutely valuable for tracking targets. It has digital day scope - clear as day picture, IR scope and IR torch and a thermal scope all in one package. Excellent value spent. My 650 detects moths flying at 15 yards with the thermal scope in pitch black night. Easily detects thermal images in white hot and black hot those are my favorites. Battery is good for about 6 hours and you can easily pop in the second battery and don’t forget the one touch standby mode. I also run an extended battery externally w C charging cord. pics included deer for viewing only. No shots taken
