Review: Compact, easy to use, powerful, LOVE - my new main pump! - I bought this ahead of my son's planned daycare transition and some summer travel, I wanted to give it a test drive to ensure I had something effective that I knew how to use, and that wouldn't negatively effect my supply when not using my main pump. I spent the better part of a year agonizing over this decision, as reviews for most wearable pumps are pretty polarized. I finally settled on the Baby Buddha both based on online reviews and word of mouth regarding suction power. The compatible collection cups were out of stock so at the recommendation of another desertcart reviewer, I bought the collection cups for the Momcozy V series to go with this. I outfitted each cup with the appropriate size flange insert (2 different sizes). I followed the 6 level rise in stimulation mode and then switched to level 2 expression mode, ending at 15 minutes, which follows my normal time with my main pump. My average output with my Spectra S1 is 4-4.5 total ounces per pump, which seems to serve my son's appetite just fine but sometimes leaves me with lumps/discomfort in one or both breasts. However, after my first pump with this setup, 6.5+ total per pump (almost 9 oz with my latest pump!) and I felt completely cleared out. This has held true with each subsequent use. Absolutely marvelous! My only complaint is the noise level, I cover it with a blanket or pillow when pumping but it's a mild nuisance that bears no weight on my feelings about my purchase. The only test now is product longevity I am VERY happy with my purchase at this time. UPDATE: Making this my main pump as I am consistently getting more output than from my Spectra. So grateful I took the leap on this pump, absolutely worth it!
Review: Finally a pump that works for me! - This pump has been a game changer for our breastfeeding journey! My baby was diagnosed failure to thrive and I've been working so hard to build up my dwindling milk supply. I tried the motif Luna I got free from insurance, but barely got anything. Same with my decade old spectra, even though all the lactation consultants and friends said it was the gold standard. Plus, I've got 9 kids and I'm super busy and sitting at a pump all the time made my mind crazy. I had an old Imani wearable pump from Legendairy Milk and started using that because it allowed me to move around and not mentally go crazy. My supply still wasn't great, but it was doable to help supplement the donor milk my baby was on. I compared it several times to the spectra output and the Imani always won, so i don't believe EVERYONE will always respond better to a plug in wall pump, despite what everyone says. I knew my Imani was on its last leg though and needed a replacement. I tried a momcozy v1 pro but i also barely got any with that, and after trialing it for 2 days and watching my already minimal ml go down, i gave up on that one. While in the hospital with my baby, i started researching breast pumps on chatgpt. Given our situation and how i responded better to the Imani than the spectra or momcozy, it recommended i try this pump since it has the "power of a wall pump but the convenience of a wearable." I already had the collection cups, so once i figured out how to get all hooked up, it hasn't been too bad. It's strong enough that it's helped increase my supply closer to what my baby needs. It's small enough that, when used with the hands free collection cups (I have the ones from Legendairy Milk), it's super portable and I stay hooked up most of the time while I go about my life in the house or car. I do hate the tubes, but I've mostly figured out how to tuck them in my clothes so they're not in the way. We're working on getting my baby back from bottles to the breast, so I'm parallel pumping (baby nursing with a SNS syringe full of supplement and pump attached to the other side at the same time) and it's tricky with all the gadgets and hook ups, but I'm so determined (or stubborn! 😂), we make it work. My supply is increasing and I'm finally making about half of what my baby needs now, which i didn't think would be possible when I used to only get drops with the other pumps. This one IS strong, but I've nursed a lot of babies and I'm 41, so I think my body just needs that kind of strength now. So, 4 amazing stars for the effectiveness, strength, portability, and simplicity of this pump. I'm taking off a star because the tubes irritate me and the battery life is horrible. If I'm not using it, it basically has to be charging at all times. The plus side is, it will continue working while charging, so I often just stay hooked up to the charger while driving, but that's just one more thing to be hooked up to! Overall, I'm completely happy with this purchase!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mixed Feelings
*by A***Y on 30 June 2026*

The only thing I would change about this thing is the suction power. Yes strong is amazing but I need to ease it lol The number one is like a 12 on the spectra, and it shocks my nipples and takes a minute to get use to.. with no option to go to a lower setting. The battery does die after 2-3 pumps so I have to keep it on the charger but it’s so portable and easy to carry… I’m on day 2 so still testing milk output but I think it just pulls the milk faster not more effectively if that makes any sense. It gives very agressive letdowns but less, so Let’s see!!! I’ll come back and update in a week. Hopefully my nipples adjust and it doesn’t feel like a fire tornado the moment I turn it on lol 😂
