I have used it to cut back a holly tree, cut up a wooden cupboard and a shed panel all on the included wood blade and on 2 battery changes. Also have used the metal blade for a small job. It is lightweight enough that it is easy to use but still feels sturdy. Having the 2 batteries is a bonus as it ensures that there is always one available so a job can be completed without having to wait for a battery to charge. I can't comment on the power as I have not used a electric reciprocating saw before so have nothing to compare it to, it seemed to have adequate power for my needs. The battery doesn't take too long to charge and has a light to indicate when it is done. I have some more challenging jobs on the horizon, to attempt to cut a water butt in half and saw up a sofa.
