You can take the lid off and lift the reservoir out with the handle to take it to the sink and fill it (like filling a bucket, NOT flipping it upside down), you can leave the lid on and fill it through the lid, or you can take the lid off and pour straight into the reservoir. If you decide to fill it through the lid, it is a little bit annoying because you have to pour very slowly. Otherwise the water comes swirling out and over the edge of the lid. I like that it’s a large capacity so it can last almost a full day on the high setting. I like the blue light that you can have on or off while it’s running. Really my only complaint, which isn’t a big deal, but could be solved with a slight redesign, is that the lid has a slot for the center column to line up with when you put it back on and it’s kinda hard to get it lined up. You just have to wiggle it around and mess with it for a moment to get it back on. It’s really not a big deal, but I’m sure it could be Resolved and then this would be literally a perfect humidifier. I did try to use the slot designated to put essential oils in, but I couldn’t smell the oil at all. That’s not why I bought the humidifier so to me it’s not a big issue. Review: Terrible to clean - Rating- 3/5 stars While this looks pretty, it is not user friendly when trying to clean. You cannot get into all of the spaces and you cannot open certain areas. Initially, was happy with this product. It sits nicely, the light is optional and it is quiet. I have been able to fill it and it lasts for a couple of days. Cleaning initially was not a problem until I got some pink mildew growing in it. To clarify, I have only used filtered water, no additives, no oils. When I went do a hard clean, it was really difficult to get into the nooks and crannies especially vapor canal. The piece does not come off nor does the very top piece for positioning. The design was not made to be user friendly for all parts. If you are not able to stay up on proper cleaning, this is not the product for you. ## Features - 6L water tank humidifier, capable of running continuously for up to 50 hours at the lowest humidity output intensity - It runs very quietly and does not affect sleep even when placed in the bedroom at night. It also features a blue night light design - The top can be filled with water, and the water tank has a large opening, making it easy to clean ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DCZ8G7CN | | Best Sellers Rank | #919,912 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #764 in Humidifiers | | Brand | CHIVALZ | | Brand Name | CHIVALZ | | Capacity | 6 liters | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 411 Reviews | | Floor Area | 538 square_feet | | Included Components | 1 Humidifiers, Cleaning Brush, User Manual | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 9.37"D x 12.67"W x 7.4"H | | Item Type Name | Humidifiers | | Item Weight | 3.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | CHIVALZ | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Model Name | YZY6001-KC | | Model Number | YZY6001-KC | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Ultrasonic | | Other Special Features of the Product | 26dB Quiet, 360° Nozzle, 6L Large Capacity, Aroma Diffuser, Easy Top-Fill and Clean | | Part Number | YZY6001-KC | | Room Type | Bedroom/large room/home/house/Baby Nursery | | Runtime | 50 hours | | Special Feature | 26dB Quiet, 360° Nozzle, 6L Large Capacity, Aroma Diffuser, Easy Top-Fill and Clean | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 120 volts | | Wattage | 25 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** CHIVALZ - **Capacity:** 6 liters - **Color:** Black - **Floor Area:** 538 square_feet - **Special Feature:** 26dB Quiet, 360° Nozzle, 6L Large Capacity, Aroma Diffuser, Easy Top-Fill and Clean ## Images ![CHIVALZ Top Fill Humidifiers for Large Room, 6L Humidifiers for Bedrooms and Plants, Nightlight, Quiet, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Dwbe4Q+KL.jpg) ![CHIVALZ Top Fill Humidifiers for Large Room, 6L Humidifiers for Bedrooms and Plants, Nightlight, Quiet, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aUn9LJuVL.jpg) ![CHIVALZ Top Fill Humidifiers for Large Room, 6L Humidifiers for Bedrooms and Plants, Nightlight, Quiet, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+L8GiVHNL.jpg) ![CHIVALZ Top Fill Humidifiers for Large Room, 6L Humidifiers for Bedrooms and Plants, Nightlight, Quiet, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71PpshpwWgL.jpg) ![CHIVALZ Top Fill Humidifiers for Large Room, 6L Humidifiers for Bedrooms and Plants, Nightlight, Quiet, Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71x9BqFtlDL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, easy filling options! *by M***E on April 26, 2025* I really like this humidifier because you have a couple choices for how you can fill it.
