The bag is a good size for a big lunch and all the snacks I tend to drag around any given day. We're beach lovers too, and I can't wait to try it on the sand. So far, it performs well keeping things cool. My only concern is the handle is only neoprene--no additional support. I am hard on stuff like this. I expect the handle will wear out before the bag does. I'd love to see the manufacturer make one with additional support in the handle.
