The collar in itself is very lovely and there are enough amber beads on the collar to make it look impressive, pretty and elegant at the same time. As for the amber I did have a smaller one but she's outgrown it however I've noted that she hasn't had a tick since wearing the collars but in the interim of losing the smaller one I originally bought for her and awaiting prompt delivery of this current one she had about three ticks in the space of a week and somewhat paranoid I've searched through her coat daily. Overall, I'm impressed with the amber collar for it's job, but also the lovely little gift box with authenticity card and explanation which came with the collar from 'I like amber'.
