They fitted my walking boots fine and at first they were very comfortable and well cusioned. However, after only some 4 months the gel is breaking down and and filling my boots with gel bits. The various layers of the insoles are also coming apart. Whilst I do numerous 10 mile or so style walks I am surprised that these have broken down so quickly :( ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Squishy *by N***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2019* I bought these as well as the blue ones from the same seller as I couldn't decide which ones I wanted. I bought them because my new hiking boots were a little roomy on top of my foot, and my feet would ache a little more than I thought they should.These insoles are quite a thick squishy gel, with different levels of squishynes in different areas. I have tried using them in combination with my original insoles and/or the blue ones from the same seller, and my conclusion is that I prefer the stiffer blue ones. After hiking some distance with the gel ones on rough terrain I felt like I could feel my feet moving a little, like walking on a wobbly jelly. This is an exaggeration and they were much more comfortable than the stock insoles, it's just that I preferred the cushioning and stiffness of the others in my hiking boots. I have put these in my trail shoes instead where I won't be walking on such rough rocky ground.To cut them to size the easiest way is to just remove your original insoles and draw around them on these, then just trim with sharp scissors. There are show size lines on the insoles you could use, but I found tracing the originals safer.Overall I'm very pleased with these, they have increased the comfort of my shoes. Fitting couldn't have been easier. Just use the current insole as a template and cut to correct size. They are even marked where to cut so they are even.Wearing them today was great. Super comfortable and support in the right places.
