I am 5 ft. 9 inch and a bit podgy round the middle - 36/38 inches. I purchased the large, in the green. Had to roll the bottom up a few inches.Probably pretty good for late Spring to Middle Autumn wear, as I did expect the cotton fabric to be a little thicker - just a minor criticism. Also the fly could do with being a inch or so longer. Apart from that they fit OK, and are fairly easy to get in and out of. Would say quite reasonable value for money, and lets face it you are hardly likely to enter a fashion show wearing these.
