The wheels are soft so rough asphalt or pebble stone is not a problem. The trucks are ok and do their job, but grinds/stalls on curbs tear them up pretty quick. The hardware they ship with are short, so upgrades (pads, risers, new trucks, etc.) will required new longer bolts. The bearings are not the best, but far from the worst. The deck is standard popsicle with a good degree of concave. The wood is not the greatest and chips pretty easily on failed tricks. The grip tape is sufficient and has stood up to ollies, pop shoves, and kickflips without rubbing off, but it is flaking off on the nose and tail due to failed flips. The bushings are squishy and require a lot of tightening (and retightening). All and all, these are pretty good cheap boards that little ones can learn on (and work on) before moving up to a pro board with a better setup. I'm unsure of durability at this point where he's only had it a week or 2 but it seems to be a nice skate board.
