I've also tried GUM expanding floss, and I prefer Dr. Tung's because it's thicker. The flavor did take some getting used to, but I barely notice it anymore. I have borderline gum disease with some 4mm pockets, and I've been flossing my whole life but constantly getting questioned by my hygienists about whether I'm actually flossing. My current hygienist immediately noticed a difference after I switched to this floss, and the last time I went in she even told me my teeth were boring! (First time I've ever heard this from a hygienist.) I'd say this stuff definitely works.
