In 2015 Stormdry became the only masonry protection cream to be BBA certified (certificate number: 15/5198). BBA testing showed that the product will remain effective as a water repellent for a period of 25 years. It is supplied in the form of a deeply penetrating 'cream' that is applied to the wall surface in a single coat using a roller or brush. Once Stormdry has been applied it will permeate deeply into the masonry before curing to form a water-repellent barrier. Would need to check adherence of paint to brick after coating, etc. Best to check with mfgr **Q: Can it be sprayed on with a pump sprayer or is it too thick?** A: An airless spray gun is referenced as one option in their video. The consistency is like sour cream and I tried both brush and roller. I didn’t find a consistency in the roller application so I used a 4” brush which worked well. **Q: How long does it take to dry once painted on?** A: i'm not 100% sure but i believe I let it dry for 24 hours but it was dry much quicker! **Q: Will this prevent brick and mortar from Shedding Dust?
