He's still toilet training and has grown out of all OTC options for swim diapers, so this swim diaper is a miracle! The leg holes are just tight enough to keep poop and quite a bit of urine in while still comfortable. Cleaning out accidents is quick & easy since it's non-absorbent and gets you back to swimming fast. He weighs 55# and I doubt he'll be in this size next year even though the poundage goes to 70 some pounds. His thighs are big and we'll need to go bigger next time. Have used a few times this summer and worked well, he didn't stool in them but they fit snug enough that it should not be an issue if he does. Washed well, soft elastic and thin polyester inner lining. I used the chart for pounds that posted and was sent an adult small. It was way too large. I believe the package was probably mislabeled. The measurements I went by sent her an extra small child. The elastic around the legs were too tight and left marks just trying on. (She is not a plus size child.)We tried the size small child and it was better but still slightly tight at the legs. I am not purchasing another pair to try the next size up. This is disappointing to have to purchase three pair at $24.95 each and not be able to get the right size.
