Review: Tasty, great, already reordering. - I’m definitely buying more. Just wanted to leave my opinion as I was completely surprised how good they tasted. Never really had natto before, including when I was in Japan. Guess it never came up. However, these are very tasty. A slight, very slight aftertaste but I quickly got accustomed to it. I’ve been eating them straight out of the bag too much so I’m going to reorder. Actually why I came to the review as I asked my Alexa to reorder. Just have to worry about over consumption as the Fiber content is high. Don’t want to overdo fiber intake, trust me……..Anywho, The taste is similar to chickpeas, so I’m not sure why I’ve read it wasn’t good or tough to the tastebuds. I want to try the refrigerator process and add some white rice later, so I’ll do that in this next reorder. I highly recommend these!!

If you want a bigger portion just double the measurements and make sure the water doesnt go over the beans. The less water you add and it will be just like the real natto that comes out the packs. This is so good with soy sauce, kimchi and I like it the most just mixed with furikake on rice and maybe a raw egg. This is a great option for those who do not live near an asian market and want to try natto. This tastes even better heated up like in Natto Spaghetti or Natto Chahan.

Admittedly- I'm an Amazon snack-a-holic, so naturally these were gonna eventually show up in my cart! The taste is very nut-like up front- one that lingers for quite a while on the tongue after you eat. Slight bitterness. To be honest, I like this product MUCH better after a shorter soak- say 15 minutes. This retains a lot of the crunch, while still giving you that slurry stickiness after a light mix. Love it on rice, with a bit of chopped onion and a splash of soy sauce.
