The chessboard was just as pretty as the picture on website. The wood squares were the same color. Also it’s a folding box to keep game pieces in and was well built. When opened you can’t tell. There’s not a space or crack in the middle of the board, and it’s even. Does not wobble.

Seems nicely made, especially for the price.  Some might quibble about the numbers being painted/printed vs being routed/engraved/burned but I think that's minor.

I was excited to receive this board since it has backgammon and chess and it was hard to find one that has both. however now I wish I had purchased 2 separate ones since the quality of this unit is very cheap. the board is super thin, and after 1 or 2 times use, at has all sorts of scratches all over it. don't recommend it.
