This is not the newest edition but the difference between this one and the en one (at time of typing this) isn't all that great so please do not worry! I brought this as I am going though all my RYA tests and courses and I found this to be a fantastic source of brilliant information. It has really great diagrams and pictures and everything is well typed out and thought out. It covers most of what you need to know about Sea Survival and it is well worth getting.

Good solid info, well laid out, concise instructions and rationalised where necessary. Perhaps it lacks greater depth on food sourcing but then again realistically the chances of that being an issue are remote, if it comes to that you are far more likely to have bigger issues!A great reference and clearly laid out, with some thoughtful, clear design and effective illustrations. If you are heading to sea in a yacht, fishing boat, kayak this is a very worth while read.

Very clear and direct. A lot of pictures and graphics. The book covers all the Sea Survival elements with a touch of related subjects like Fire onboard, Sailing in storms, First Aid, MOB etc.. The book is written for small yacht so if you are a Large Yacht or Code vessel will not really cover all the requirements and legal references.
