Review: Good product created by one of the most trusted Veterinarians in the world! - I make my German Shepherd Dog's meal fresh daily, mostly consisting of fresh chicken legs or thighs and beef liver from ALDI's and veggies and fruits like broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, apples and blueberries. Even though I do not like the way Dr. Mercola did Dr. Karen Becker one of the most popular veterinarians in the world, I still purchase this vitamin and mineral supplement that Dr. Karen Becker created to ensure my German Shepherd Dogs are not lacking anything. I add this supplement to their diet every other meal. I'm not sure I can use these packets.** A: The packets are designed to provide the essential vitamins and minerals for the raw fed dog. You add the beef, liver, or what ever meat source. **Q: where is this made? Someone told me it's made in China.** A: Too many times it’s not available. Then I worry about what am I going to substitute in my dogs food when I make their food.I am trying something else. Hopefully it will be a good substitute. **Q: I want to make sure there’s no beef, pork, alfalfa, flax, or grains in this. I’m assuming not as it’s vitamins and minerals and not whole food** A: Meal Mix does not contain beef, pork, alfalfa or flax. However there are some native starches used which include corn, rice and tapioca starches. **Q: Is there a possibility of a copper-free version for dogs with liver impairment?** A: Unfortunately we have yet to hear of a copper free version of this product coming out. However, we would be more than happy to pass this along as a future product suggestion. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product created by one of the most trusted Veterinarians in the world! *by T***N on 24 October 2025* I make my German Shepherd Dog's meal fresh daily, mostly consisting of fresh chicken legs or thighs and beef liver from ALDI's and veggies and fruits like broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, apples and blueberries. Takes the guess work out of it, I stopped feeding raw a couple years ago because I didn't feel I was hitting all the vit/mineral needs. I was so happy to see Dr. Karen Becker came up with this, I ordered it immediately after I double checked ingredients! I am happy to report that our beagles are on raw and I'm confident they are getting everything they need! Highly recommend! ## Frequently Bought Together - Dr. Mercola Bark & Whiskers Meal Mix for Adult Dogs, 8.09 Oz.
