Buying another iPad for a 3 year old to abuse was out of the question and to be honest it was a little bit on the large and heavy side for her little hands anyway.After much research we settled on this one and I have to say we are 100% happy with the purchase. The screen is sharp and colourful, the sound is clear and punchy the battery life is amazing and most importantly it's tough enough to withstand the rigours of an abusive 3 year old whilst still being light enough for her to support with one hand. The latter part is mainly due to all the weight (i.e. the battery) being located at one end of the tablet, so if you rest that part on your legs the rest of the tablet has virtually no weight.Of course for use on a table there is the excellent built in kick stand. This is made of metal and is extremely robust and is released with a simple button press. My daughter can easily extend the stand without any help from us, a welcome change from the origami-esque folding stand that was built into our iPad case.My little girl had insisted that the new tablet must be pink but since this wasn't possible we opted for this case:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-YOGA-8-Inch-Flip-Case/dp/B015IZ5IXK/For the money it does the job well and offers a little extra protection for the device. Most importantly though, it's the "right" colour! It's worth noting that the range of cases for this tablet is a little more limited than for most devices. This seems to be partly due to the slightly odd shape and I suppose also due to the fact that this is always going to a be a lot less popular than the latest Samsung or Apple device.Overall I would whole heartedly recommend this device. Obviously it's not a top of the range spec but for playing simple games, watching Netflix or YouTube or just general web browsing the performance is more than adequate. The stand out features for us are the build quality, the kick stand and the battery life (which I believe is currently the best of any tablet on the market). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent tablet with 4G *by S***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 July 2016* Having read many reviews online I ordered this through Amazon, though it shipped from a supplier in Europe. It arrived within a week and came with a UK adapter for the EU charger along with additional instructions. Many reviewers criticized the screen though I've found it to be excellent, being sharp and bright. It's 720 HD after all, and at 8 inches is very impressive. Build quality is good and it feels solid. The 4G works well and means I don't have to rely on WiFi. A data-only sim from GiffGaff went straight in and it was up and running in minutes. The funny shape that houses the battery and kick-stand (very useful) provides a very comfortable grip when used in portrait position. The battery life is very impressive indeed. It's possible to get two days out of it without charging. Overall, very impressed and would thoroughly recommend it. UPDATE : The more I use this tablet, the more I like it's quality and versatility. When I put it next to the iPad Mini 4 that I use at work, I find that I prefer the screen quality of the Yoga device. It's easier to hold, and the integral stand makes it much more useful. In fact, the iPad doesn't get used at all now which is a shame since it was about three times the price of the Yoga. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Lenovo 3. 8" *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 February 2016* I'm really pleased that I bought this tablet, as a pensioner I find it very easy to use and light to hold. I use it as a Kindle, web browser, and I'm sure that there is an "app" to suit everyone! The 8Mp rotatable camera is superb, you can even draw with a metal stylus without scratching the screen!(If you download a drawing app). It is so much faster than using a laptop. If I damaged or lost mine, I would buy another instantly! I'd be lost without it!
