It has an inner tie to hold one side closed, but because the fabric is so “slippery” the other side does have a tendency to slide open, even when crossed fully over and pulled tightly shut. This means that I have to keep adjusting it, which I don’t mind, but I’d imagine some people would find it annoying. There are no pockets, which some won’t like, but I like it because it doesn’t add extra fabric. I also really like that this is one of the few that is listed as machine washable, so that is a major plus.
