## Description

Thuya is a native Moroccan wood famed for its distinctively marked root wood and strong, pleasant fragrance. All our Thuya wood products are handcrafted in Morocco and more specifically in and around the areas of Essouira and Agadir in the south of Morocco. The Thuya wood is primarily from the roots. Its very hard wood and difficult to work with. Though the external surfaces are buffed to an impressive smooth high gloss, there are some naturally occurring knotholes, nicks and some other imperfections in the wood which become a part of each box’s character, Thuya is a variety of fast growing conifer farmed under strict government licence in friendliness to the environment.

This box was brilliant, it came with instructions, which I handed over in the end but it was good fun to see him struggle to get into it without knowing which pieces of the box to move before it releases the key to unlock it :-) Great fun and it looks really nice.

**Q: Would this fit 2 packs of cards or is it too small?**
A: Hi, i used a standard pack of cards from my poker set. They don’t fit. Long enough, but too narrow.

**Q: inner compartment dimensions?**
A: The inner dimensions are 10.5cm x 8.5cm and depth 3.6cm. There may be slight variations as they are all hand carved. Thank you.

**Q: My key broke, anyone know how I can get it open? Or where to get another key?**
A: The lock itself is simple, you can pick it by just using a bent piece of metal

**Q: Does the key have a separate compartment?**
A: Hello - thank you for your query. The key to this box is in a hidden compartment within the box. Firstly you need to locate and open the secret compartment hiding the key and then dicover the hidden lock to insert the key and open the box. We include instructions with the box.

I would first say the description is misleading as it says Large puzzle box , and unfortunately I didn’t look at the dimensions so was disappointed with the size . It’s small. It is a nice little box though .
