Review: Delicious Rice alternative WAY BETTER than Cauliflower, Miracle Rice & Lupini Rice! - I've been keto since the beginning of this year and experimenting with several brands/foods. This Hearts of Palm Rice is delicious and does an amazing job absorbing sauces/liquids well Cauliflower Rice: God awful in my opinion. Taste is too strong, hard to dry out and doesn't absorb well. Way too soft Miracle Rice (Shirataki): chewy and doesn't truly absorb sauces, they sit within the sauce but don't absorb it. This has been an okay alternative. Lupini: discovered this from Aviate. I purchased 3 packs. I cooked half of one pack and will throw the rest of that pack away, along with the other 2 packs. Reminds me more of Orzo, chewy/sticky texture and doesn't translate well to dishes. Back to my new found favorite (Hearts of Palm rice), I purchased one pack to start and came back to order SIX. This is the ONE. Like a previous reviewer said, it goes perfectly with TIKKA MASALA None of these substitutes are rice nor will they ever be. This specific Hearts of Palm rice carries similar characteristics and is much easier to prepare than Cauliflower, Shirataki, Lupini and even actual Rice

I've been keto since the beginning of this year and experimenting with several brands/foods. This Hearts of Palm Rice is delicious and does an amazing job absorbing sauces/liquids well Cauliflower Rice: God awful in my opinion. Taste is too strong, hard to dry out and doesn't absorb well. Way too soft Miracle Rice (Shirataki): chewy and doesn't truly absorb sauces, they sit within the sauce but don't absorb it. This has been an okay alternative. Lupini: discovered this from Aviate. Palm rice beats any other rice alternative. It's more authentic than grated cauliflower, It cooks in 2 minutes. It is high in fiber and low in calories. It is the BEST thing for anyone who would normally use rice as their staple cereal grain food. Cauliflower rice works well in a WET rice recipe, because cauliflower, in general, works better as a mashed potato substitute. But Palm rice is the true rice alternative, in both texture and function, and TASTE. Believe the advertisement. This is the versatile rice alternative that will help you make great tasting dishes, while improving your weight and fiber intake. I order this every month, and have never received a bad package from this company. This review is based on using this product about 100+ times already.
