Review: Super disappointed - Upon receiving this product, it was immediately making an extremely loud and irritating ringing noise whenever riding. I contacted support and all they did was send a seemingly AI-generated troubleshooting process that has nothing to do with the issue. In addition: The battery life is well below what is posted. The locking mechanism for the scooter is poorly designed and will not conveniently unlock after many attempts. the app continuously asks me to view the tutorial even after repeatedly completing it the Bluetooth range is abysmal and barely reaches a couple feet beyond the scooter. The scooter itself rides decently well, but the many shortcomings prevent me from ever recommending it to anyone.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NIU 300P is a good value at the Prime Day Sale

I bought a NIU 300P at the Spring 2026 Prime Day sale for $479. At that price, it was a much better deal than the over-priced 200P or the under-powered 100P. In 4 months of use so far, the 300P has been working great for me as an everyday commuter. I'm getting a battery range of about 20 miles per full charge in urban stop-and-go traffic and using the 20mph top speed whenever I can. The big tires and front suspension give me a comfortable ride on my city streets. Acceleration and hill climbing power are more than adequate even in the less aggressive "chill mode". No flat tires so far, but I always carry a mini-pump with me just in case. My main complaint is the Android smartphone app is somewhat buggy. The app is required to use the scooter and also to customize the scooter modes. I especially dislike the app tutorial that pops up every time I start the app and there is no way to disable it after completing the tutorial.
