After seeing a huge range of prices for various filters, and considering some of the top names in the business, I settled on the Lenskins MRC UV, plus their Circular Polarizer, and a 10x neutral density filter. I am very pleased with all 3 filters. The photos I've taken with the filters on, are just as sharp as those I've taken with the filters off. The 10x neutral density filter does not alter the color of the final image at all. The polarizer does what it is supposed to do; eliminating reflections and haze, bringing in better colors, and is totally neutral in color balance. I bought all three filters and they arrived promptly, for under $100 total.
