The zipper is long length but stops below the knee so you can get in and out of it easier. Large pockets can hold my cellphone. I packed this for a trip and since it is not very bulky it didn't take up my whole suitcase. It's not a "winter" type robe, but here in FL its just heavy enough for me. Love putting it on right out of the shower.

Soft but still light weight, this robe is very comfortable. My only problem is that it is quite long for me, just about reaching the floor. The sleeves are easy to roll up, but not the length. I didn't want a knee length robe, but more is not always better. S
