This is worth the slight extra cost for such a great plastic welder. I have used it several times and only charged it when I first received it. Once you practice a few repairs, it becomes very simple to pick up and make quick repairs. The pliers supplied are heavy duty but not flush cut so I don't use the supplied pliers much. I already have flush cut side pliers and end snips.
