Really good quality and easy to install. I had made a mistake when I ordered sets of blinds. I miss ordered one set. The company was very very nice about it and help me solve the problem even though I made the mistake. They were very kind, Considerate, professional. I think the old ones were Walmart brand- 10 years ago. I expected these to be better than they are for the price point. The wooden slats are nice, but the mechanisms feel very cheap. I don't think they are much if any better than my old ones. I also wish I would have noticed the line about them being 1/2 inch short. I ordered 48" because I need 48". You may want to go elsewhere if you have kids that are crazy because these are nice. One, you don't want them screwing them up. Two, if they are going to be throwing stuff in the house, it could knock the valence down. The reason this is because it is so easy to install. Basically I am not a handy man at all but this was easy. A monkey could do it! Take accurate measurements as they request, give that to them when they email you and you're good to go.
