Even recording all the tapes and converting them to CD would take an age so this 'item from the past' fits the bill. It is a bit flimsy and not as well built as the original classic Walkman but it works fine and relatively speaking this is far,far cheaper. The specifications regarding length of time the batteries last are remarkable.I have not used it for long periods and only time will tell whether the specs are reliable.
