Folding the item back will take a couple of times to get the hang of, imagine it like folding away a pop up tent. I've had cheap sun screens before and they have melted away or just simply fallen apart. Its mainly there to stop your dash and interior from melting. Previously had a 'concertina' type and this is much better. It shades the entire windscreen of my Kia Niro (mid size suv) and once folded (!) stores neatly. The double sided silver/black finish helps to keep the temperature down I'm sure - especially with full coverage.
