I'm glad I did. This thing is solid. It is heavy and feels a better quality than what I imagine the cheaper ones are. The single arm (rather than the several pivoting struts in each section of the cheaper models) looks much more professional. I used this with a Blue Yeti Mic (the regular size, not the nano) and it fits well with no movement on the arm even when fully extended. As said in other reviews, the spring is pretty strong so be sure to put on your microphone before worrying about it being too strong.
