## Description

The scarce but popular Noodler's flex nib fountain pens enter a new design available in several new marbled colors. Each pen is uses a piston-filling mechanism which accepts bottled ink only (may we suggest Noodler's Ink?) and is fitted with a special auto-vent flex nib that can go from a hairline to 1.5mm stroke on paper using slight hand pressure to spread the tines of the nib. Definitely a great value considering the low cost to own a flex nib fountain pen.

Review: Lid thread snapped before I could use it. - Took an age to arrive. Gently screwed the lid together. Popped it in my coat pocket and the screw thread snapped immediately. If the seller can send me a replacement lid, I'll give more stars for the pen section, but currently not really fit for purpose. Also it smells like someone has used it as a thermometer. (Not mouth or armpit)
Review: Poor - This has the typical Noodlers smell. It's a bit like gone off cheese. This pen is all about the flex nib. That's why I bought it. Does if flex? Not really. As with any steel nib if you press hard you will get a bit of line variation but that's all. Is it a smooth writer? No. I needed to give it a lot of work with Micromesh to remove basic scratchyness. As it was a USA desertcart import it wasn't worth the hassle to return it.

**Q: Does this fit a standard #6 nib?**
A: no the nib creaper uses a  #2 the Ahab and Konrad are #6 nibs

**Q: Can I put white ink in this pen? If so what kind is best?**
A: Have you tried D'Artrementis white ink? It is made for fountain pens.

**Q: Can we see a writing sample?**
A: Better check youtube. Personally I was hoping for little more flex.

**Q: I'm a bit confused. Is this  listing for a clear demo pen or a blue lapis pen? The title and the description don't match.**
A: It's the clear demonstrator of title and photo.Description is probably just copy-pasted from a similar listing. I don't think I even read it before ordering - Amazon have been successfully deemphasizing it (at least on mobile).

This pen really smells horrible. Tried soap, washing up liquid, and bicarbonate of soda but it still smells and leaves the pong on your fingers. Poor quality.
